One Piece Chapter 1126: Did Shanks Just Start A War With Luffy?

Before the Straw Hats can step foot on Elbaf Island, the homeland of the Giants, One Piece chapter 1126 of the manga has brought with it a bag full of surprises. Oda has turned our attention towards the Red Hair Pirates, the most unpredictable pirate crew in the New World. In the new chapter, the Red Hair Pirates led by Shanks did something unexpected that could potentially trigger a war with his beloved protege.

Red Hair Pirates Destroyed the Going-Luffy Senpai Ship

In one of the cover stories of the One Piece manga, Bartolomeo and his crew were seen rampaging through an area under the protection of the Red Hair Pirates. To top it off, Bartolomeo and his mate Gambia set Akagami Shank’s pirate flag on fire. Undoubtedly, Barto, a main representative of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, committed a blunder here that can’t be undone.

Fans have been waiting for a long time to see how the Red-Hair Pirates will respond to this grievous act. Well, we won’t have to wait anymore, as the Yonko crew did not let this issue slide. Even though Barto apologized for wreaking havoc in their territory and even drank a vile of poison (not actually poison) to prove his loyalty to Luffy, that wasn’t enough. It seemed Shanks was happy that Luffy had ardent followers and also let Barto’s crew leave freely at first.

However, Yasopp couldn’t turn a blind eye to this mistake, and he used his sniper to destroy the Going Luffy-senpai ship along with Barto club members. As expected, the Red Hair Pirates did not let them walk away so easily, Yasopp taught them a lesson to never mess with a Yonko crew by shooting down their ship.

However, if you look deep into this issue, the Red Hair Pirates have directly attacked an important ally and a crew of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. The Akagami crew has responded in a crew manner and don’t forget the Straw Hat’s are also a yonko crew. So, what seemed like a trivial matter at first has now greatly sparked the conflict between Shanks and Luffy.
