The Boys Season 4 has brought us numerous new characters and in episode 6, Webweaver made an appearance. Trust me when I say it, even though he is a Spider-Man ripoff, he is nothing like Peter Parker. So, in this article, find out who Webweaver is and what his powers are.
Webweaver’s Real Name is Patrick Whitehall
Webweaver akaPatrick Whitehall wasfirst introduced to us in The Boys Season 4 Episode 4. In that episode, Butcher said that he spent $50,000 on a Heroine enema that he gave to Webweaver in exchange for information about Firecracker.
We also saw him as a playable character in the Vought Tournament of Heroes video game that Ryan was playing. After all this, Webweaver was seen at the V52 Expo in Season 4, an event where the first look at the character was revealed with a statement saying-
“We can confirm he has completed his rehab stint at the Global Wellness Center in Malibu, and will be making his first public appearance next Thursday.”
After this, Webweaver made an appearance in The Boys season 4 where we saw MM (Mother’s Milk, who hasn’t been recast) help him take drugs, and if you think he helped him snort or inject them, god bless your soul. After Webweaver passed out from the drug intake, Hughie and MM stole his costume to infiltrate Tek Knight’s party.
Who Is the Actor Playing Webweaver in The Boys
Dan Mousseau, a Canadian actor, played the role of Webweaver in The Boys. He made his first appearance as the web-slinging supe in Season 4 Episode 6. We see that he is a complete junkie and he passed out as soon as M.O. gives him the drugs after which Hughie and him stole Webweaver’s costume. However, Homelander does not really like the sound of that and kills off Webweaver by ripping him in half thinking that he is the leak. Definitely, one of the most diabolical deaths in The Boys Season 4.
What Are Webweaver’s Powers
In The Boys Season 4, we saw that Webweaver is a twisted ripoff of Marvel’s Spider-Man. However, Webweaver got his powers when he was injected with Compound V and not by a spider bite.
Also, Spider-Man usually shoots synthetic webbing but in the case of Webweaver, he shoots web organically well…a bit too similar to an actual spider. If you know what I’m talking about, that’s great, and if you don’t, let’s just say he shoots the web exactly from the bodypart a real spider does and I’m not elaborating anymore.
