The Boys is already four seasons in and has given us some really weird but rather dangerous characters. This series is known for its rawness and gore most of which is done by the super-abled humans created by Vought International. So, in this article, find out about the 15 most dangerous supes we have seen in The Boys from Season one to four!
16. The Deep
The Deep is a recurring character in The Boys who has been around for all four seasons. He is a much more degraded ripoff of Aquaman who is treated rather poorly by Vought and The Seven for his weird mannerisms and a constant urge of approval especially from Homelander. His powers are similar to Aquaman, he can communicate with aquatic life. He has super strength and enhanced durability. Even though he is strong and has a plethora of powers, his lameness makes him a joke for everyone in the show and the audience as well.
15. Hughie Campbell
Hughie might not have any superpowers as such but he is probably one of the smartest characters in The Boys. Moreover, when he took Temp V it gave him the power to teleport, super strength, speed, and enhanced strength. He was able to help Butcher and Soldier Boy when they almost took down Homelander. If you’re wondering why Hughie is ranked higher than The Deep, the simple answer to that is, that Hughie might not be as strong as The Deep is, but he can easily outsmart him.
14. Lamplighter
Lamplighter was probably one of the most powerful supes but was not able to deal with everything he had done as a part of The Seven. He had Pyrokinetic abilities and could bend the element of fire to his will. After his retirement, he was still working for Vought where he did clean-ups for Sage Grove Center where Vought was experimenting on patients to improve Compound V. We never get to see him engage in much combat but we get to see the extent of his power in his final moments where he killed himself and burnt down his statue at the Vought Tower.
13. Kimiko
Kimiko is one of the most loved characters in The Boys franchise. She is extremely strong and is a master of hand-to-hand combat. Her talents in combat mixed with her enhanced strength by Compound V make her extremely lethal. She has a really strong healing factor as well because of which she can heal from even being torn into two halves. In the first few seasons, her character arc was rather reserved but in the final season, her character development was insanely good. The reason why Kimiko doesn’t speak was also shown and that has left the audience waiting for Season 5 to see what happens next to her.
12. Black Noir
Black Noir is by far one of the most lethal characters in The Boys. The prime Black Noir was an expert combatant with enhanced durability and strength but sadly, he was killed off by Homelander. In The Boys Season 4, Vought replaced him with a new character who is played by the same actor. The new Black Noir possesses extreme durability and super strength, and as an add-on, he can fly as well. However, the new Black Noir is a narcoleptic meaning he can fall asleep in the middle of combat which is indeed a big weakness.
11. A-Train
A-Train started as a character hated by almost everyone but throughout the seasons, he developed into a beloved character. A-Train as of now is going through one of the best redemption arcs we have seen in a while. As we all know, A-Train possesses super speed, strength, and above-average durability.
The thing that makes him dangerous is his speed. He can run fast enough to shatter anyone to pieces if he bumps into them making his attacks twice as powerful. Of course, he cannot defeat Homelander but other than him, he can take on any other supe in The Seven and there’s a high probability that he will emerge victorious.
10. Starlight
Throughout the three seasons of The Boys Starlight has been shown as a supe who does not know the full potential of her powers and is still learning to use most of them. However, by the end of The Boys Season 4, we see that she regained her powers and it seems that she is way stronger than she was before now, she is probably the only Supe in The Boys except Soldier Boy who could hold her ground against Homelander.
9. Sam Riordan
Sam was introduced to us in Gen V as a troubled youngster who has been a test subject at The Woods. However, as it turns out, his troubled personality eventually turns him into an antagonist. He has severe dementia and has incomparable superstrength which makes him even more dangerous. A demonstration of this was given to us when he ripped apart a whole squad of guards sent to capture him in Gen V and in The Boys Season 4, was able to restrain Kimiko with a single hand.
8. Cate Dunlap
Cate Dunlap probably has one of the most dangerous powers in Gen V. She can touch anyone and have them under her total control. She started out as one of the good guys but by the end of Gen V, she turned into an antagonist. However, one of her hands was blown apart by Marie which might be the thing that pushed her to the point of no return. We see her in The Boys Season 4 and in the final episode, she uses her powers on Frenchie making him willingly go with her.
7. William Butcher (Billy Butcher)
Butcher is the lead character in The Boys hell-bent on taking down Homelander. However, in his pursuit of achieving this goal, he almost killed himself by overdosing on Temp V. The overdose gave him cancer, and in hopes of saving himself, he took Compound V which instead of giving him superpowers, made his tumor a sentient being that presents itself to him in the form of his deceased friend Joe Kessler.
Initially, Butcher does not go along with Joe’s idea of using the Supe killing virus to kill all the supes but when Butcher sees Ryan kill Grace crosses his breaking point and complies with Joe Kessler’s plan to kill all supes. This grants him powers very similar to Marvel’s venom and he ends up killing Victoria Neuman as the first victim of the upcoming genocide.
6. Marie Moreau
Marie is the protagonist of Gen V and has a unique power. She can control blood and bend it to take any shape or form she desires. In Gen V, it was confirmed that Marie and Victoria Neuman have the same powers. This means that Marie can also make body parts blow up which she did with Cate making her equally dangerous as Victoria. She is going to appear as a protagonist in Gen V season 2 and will appear in The Boys Season 5 as well.
5. Victoria Neuman
Victoria Neuman, since her appearance in The Boys has been a very important character, However, once it was revealed that she has powers, she also turned out to be one of the most dangerous characters in The Boys. She is invulnerable and can blow apart anyone’s head using her powers. She has taken down a lot of people in the entirety of The Boys. However, in The Boys Season 4 finale, she got killed by Butcher.
4. Ryan
Ryan is the first natural-born supe in the world. With Homelander’s DNA, Ryan has all the powers Homelander has but he is not able to fully control his powers as of now. However, looking at the way things are going, Ryan could turn out to be way more powerful than Homelander.
This is the reason why Grace and Butcher wanted to recruit Ryan to kill Homelander. However, things went south and Ryan did not believe the things Grace told him about Homelander and ended up killing her before going back to Homelander.
3. Queen Maeve
Queen Maeve was the only Supe in The Boys who was somewhat near the brute force of Homelander. She had extreme durability and strength however, her powers were very limited as compared to Homelander. She is the first one in The Seven to understand Homelander’s intentions and leave The Seven just in time by faking her death in The Boys Season 3. We did not get to see her in Season 4 but let’s wait and see if she makes an appearance in the final season of The Boys.
2. Soldier Boy
The only supe that can kill Homelander is Soldier Boy. He was the first all-powerful Supe created by Vought and Homelander was created using his DNA with some enhancements like flight, X-ray vision, and heat vision. Soldier Boy was kept in captivity by the Russians who were studying his enhancements using heavy radiation.
This radiation gave Soldiers Boy powers to emit a strong radiation blast that could burn down Compound V in a Supe’s bloodstream making them powerless. In season 3, the plan was to use the power of Soldier Boy to take away Homelander’s powers and kill him. However, things did not go as planned.
1. Homelander
There is no doubt that Homelander is the most dangerous supe in The Boys universe. He is the strongest supe created by Vought and possesses power beyond compare. No supe, except Soldier Boy has ever been able to put a scratch on Homelander. The whole plot of The Boys revolves around Butcher’s plan to take down Homelander and with each season, Butcher goes to a new extreme to make it happen. With Season 5 in line which is going to be the final season of The Boys, this show is seemingly moving towards a comic-accurate ending featuring Homelander’s death. so, let’s wait and see what happens in The Boys Season 5.
