Mahito is one of the new bosses introduced in the Anime Vanguards Update 1 who can get on your nerves quite easily. Although he has a modest health bar, finding and defeating him can be tricky if you do not know the right way. While Mahito (aka Mahato) does not show up as a final boss, he is a sub-boss that shows up in each act of the Shibuya stages. Killing him before the main boss arrives is crucial as he keeps spawning additional mobs from random lanes. So, in this post, learn how to beat Mahito in Anime Vanguards and where to find him.
All Mahito Locations in Anime Vanguards
Mahito is a recurring boss for every Shibuya Station act in Anime Vanguards. While he comes with a decent health bar, finding him can be tricky for new players. Here are all the spawn locations where you can find Mahito:
- Mahito commonly spawns seated on the subway chairs. You can check the outer chairs that face the railway tracks to find him.
- He can also be found near the pillars attached to the lanes. Here, Mahito is more easily noticeable.
- Sometimes, you can find him near the edge of the map by the station wall, sleeping.
- Unlike the Double Dungeon statue bosses, Mahito can be a bit unconventional as he hangs from random places. So keep an eye out for that as well.
Tips to Defeat Mahito in Anime Vanguards
Now that you know the locations of this pesky curse, there are a few things you must keep in mind to defeat him in Anime Vanguards. Although the easiest way to eliminate Mahito is to have some of the strongest units with the best AV traits, you can do it without them as well. So, before you enter the fight against such strong bosses, make sure you get some gems from Anime Vanguards codes to increase your chances of getting better units.
I played the Shibuya acts with only three units and level 8, and I still completed them easily. Here are the steps to defeat Mahito in Anime Vanguards:
- Keep some strong AOE units for your lane clearance. I suggest you use Vogita Super as he can be great at decimating multiple mobs at once.
- Deploy all Sprintwagon units before wave 6. This will help you farm enough gold to upgrade your units in the late game.
- If you have a good critical damage dealer like Sung Jin-woo, keep him for Mahito’s revelation.
- Do not waste multiple units for Mahito and focus on completing the waves more. One good unit should be enough to take him down.
- Mahito is invincible till you take down 3 waves of enemies. This is why, I recommend you place your units right at the final mob spawn lane emerging from the train tracks. This will make sure you have weak waves near you when Mahito spawns for the first time.
That is how you can beat Mahito in the game quite easily. Now, you can focus on clearing infinite stages to get cursed fingers in Anime Vanguards. Have you taken down Mahito yet? Tell us in the comments below.
