Toji Fushiguro, the fearsome sorcerer known for his cursed energy manipulation and formidable skills in Jujutsu Kaisen, is now a unit in Anime Vanguard. Acquiring him requires dedication and a bit of grinding, but it’s well worth the effort for any serious player. Here’s a detailed guide on how to obtain Toji, otherwise called Tuji (in-game) in Anime Vanguards.

Anime Vanguards Tuji Guide (Toji)

To unlock Toji Fushiguro, or in-game name Tuji in Anime Vanguard, players must first obtain a special item through story progression and then appease it by defeating specific bosses in the Shiybuya Station map acts. Once done, sacrifice a Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) before facing Toji himself to get Toji, the unevolved version, as a unit. There are four steps needed to get Toji:

Step One: The Cursed Worm

Step one begins with obtaining the Cursed Worm. This item is essential for unlocking Toji and can be acquired by completing Act 6 of Shibuya Station, called Perfected Human Curse.

Step 2: Killing Specific Bosses

Once you have the Cursed Worm, you must kill four specific bosses to satiate it. These bosses are the following:

Dagon: Found lurking in Act 1 of the story mode.
Transfigured Mohato: Encountered in Act 6. He is hidden somewhere on the stage; you need to find him.
Sukono: Located within the challenging Legend stage 2.
Jag-o: Located within the challenging Legend Stage 1.

It’s unclear if this is intended game mechanics or a bug, but completing these stages multiple times ensures successful sacrifices to the Cursed Worm. This may not be needed, always check your Cursed Worm to see if it’s worked.

Step 3: Sacrifice a JJK Unit

With the Cursed Worm activated and the required boss offerings made, head back to the lobby. You’ll need to sacrifice one of your evolved JJK units to appease the Cursed Worm further. Choose wisely, as this sacrifice is permanent. To sacrifice a unit, click on the Cursed Worm and select Sacrifice. Choose the unit you’re sacrificing, then click Yes on the ‘Do you really want to sacrifice X unit?’
