Fishing Tips and Tricks for Grand Piece Online
This guide takes you from fishing newbie to master angler, covering everything from getting your first rod and bait to hunting for legendary fish and the coveted sunken treasures (including the new Anchor weapon!). We’ll show you the best fishing spots, how to craft powerful bait, and what to do with all your catches.”
Getting Started: Rods and Bait
There are three locations where you can get your first fishing rod: Shells Town, Desert Kingdom, or the new island Logue Town. At the docks, purchase a fishing rod for 50 Beli and the maximum amount of bait you can carry to avoid running out mid-trip, which is 10 Beli per bait.
Best Fishing Spots in GPO
For an uninterrupted fishing experience, a private server is ideal. Use the command “/pvp pads on” to prevent Marines and Cipher Pol agents from spawning and interrupting your session. Head to Sphinx Island and travel directly west until you reach the rough waters. If you have the Caravel, spawn it and fish from the deck. If not, Magu users can stand on the water to fish. Devil Fruit users should use the same strategy, taking care not to activate their abilities while on the water.
Upgrading Your Gear and Bait Crafting
Once you’ve caught 20 fish, return to Shell’s Town and visit Blacksmith Sen to upgrade your fishing rod to the Rare Fishing Rod. This upgrade enhances handling and lure, making reeling in catches easier. While an Epic Rod exists, it’s generally more beneficial to invest your Legendary fish in crafting better bait.
You can craft Common, Rare, and Legendary bait using the fish you catch. The higher the bait tier, the better your chances of catching rarer fish and sunken items. For example, using Legendary bait significantly increases your odds of landing a Legendary fish.
Identifying Fish Rarity: Speed and Sound
You can gauge a fish’s rarity by its behavior and the sound it makes. Slower, less active fish are usually common, while fast, darting fish are more likely to be rare or even legendary. Legendary fish also have a deeper, heavier sound cue compared to common ones.
Is Fishing Worth It in Grand Piece Online? Sunken Treasures and the Anchor Weapon
So, is fishing worth your time in Grand Piece Online? It depends on what you’re after. That awesome Anchor weapon? Yeah, it’s gonna take some serious dedication (think hours of fishing). But it’s a super cool and unique reward, so it’s totally worth it for some players, especially for those two who invest in Strength.
The sunken armor set is another great catch, and you’ll have better luck finding pieces in rough waters with high-tier bait. Plus, keep an eye out for future updates; they’re planning on adding crafting recipes for weapons and items using fish—imagine a Swordfish weapon!
Overall, fishing in GPO is a fun change of pace from the usual brawls. It’s relaxing, you can score some valuable loot, and there’s always the thrill of the catch! Sure, getting the rarest items takes patience (and maybe a little luck), but the rewards can be awesome. Plus, you can sell your extra fish for Beli!
