Throne And Liberty – Amitoi House Location And Expedition Bug Explained

One of the systems in place for progressing in Throne and Liberty is the Amitoi House and its Amitoi Expeditions. You’ll unlock both of these early on and then use them throughout your experience in the MMORPG. Here is how to unlock and find the Amitoi House as well as make use of the Amitoi Expeditions to progress in Throne an Liberty.

Amitoi House Location – How to unlock and get to the Amitoi House

You’ll unlock the Amitoi House at around Level 12 or 13 from naturally playing through the main Adventure campaign. In fact, the Amitoi House unlocks at the beginning of Chapter 3, with the quest A Small but Mighty Companion.

Upon unlocking the Amitoi House you can fast travel to it at any time by clicking on the icon of the Amitoi you currently have equipped which is located just above the right side of your skillbar/hotbar. Clicking on this icon will start a brief channel time after which you will be teleported to your Amitoi House.

Amitoi Expedition bug has been fixed

UPDATE: September 27, 2024 – NCSoft and Amazon have pushed out a hotfix for the Amitoi Expedition bug and it should now be working correctly. Restart Throne and Liberty to download the small hotfix, and then you should be able to properly access the expeditions in English and successfully start sending your Amitoi on expeditions.

At the time of Throne and Liberty Early Access launch there is a bug with the Amitoi Expeditions. Unfortunately, these are the main focus of the Amitoi House, so it’s a bit of a bummer they are currently bugged and not working. Thankfully, Amazon has confirmed they are aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix.

With the current bug, the menu text for the Amitoi may display Korean instead of English text, regardless of region. But even worse, clicking on any of the interactable features of the map of the Amitoi Expeditions won’t actually do anything, and you won’t be able to send your Amitoi out on an expedition to level them up and receive rewards.

How to do Amitoi Expeditions

The Amitoi Expeditions are essentially an idle mini-game that you can progress while playing your character. The Amitoi you collect while you progress through the main Adventure campaign can be sent out on little missions that take 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours to complete. Upon completion, your Amitoi will return with rewards as well as level up themselves.

As your Amitoi level up and you increase the level of your Expedition Team, you can send them out to more dangerous areas on expeditions to return with better rewards. This becomes a great way to acquire key materials even in the end game of Throne and Liberty, and you should always keep on top of your Amitoi Expeditions.
