How To Turn Into A Mangler In Black Ops 6 Zombies

One of the best scorestreaks in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies is the ability to turn into an undead zombie, and the Mangler is no meek zombie.

If you’ve already played the Zombies mode and survived the first few waves, you’ll encounter what I consider the mini-bosses of this mode. Defeating these well-armored behemoths isn’t easy, so you can understand how hard it will be for the zombies to tackle you. Let’s find out how to use the new scorestreak.

How to become a Mangler in Black Ops 6 Zombies

To become the beast yourself, you’ll need the Mutant Injection scorestreak. Unfortunately, this particular scorestreak doesn’t unlock as you level up your character. Instead, it can be obtained by defeating a Mangler in the Zombies mode. The drop appears to be completely random, and in my first few runs till now, I have yet to have any luck (unlike my lucky friends).

That said, here are all the ways to get the Mutant Injection scorestreak.

• Kill Manglers
• Complete S.A.M. Challenges
• Open the safety deposit boxes in Liberty Falls’ bank vault.

While leveling up might not directly get you this scorestreak, you can purchase it from the Crafting Table on the map in exchange for 2,500 Salvage.

How to convert into a Mangler in Black Ops 6

So, you’ve obtained the Mutant Injection and want to convert it into a Mangler yourself. The process is pretty simple—press the down D-Pad button on your controller or 3 on your keyboard. This will automatically begin your transformation (do note that you can’t do anything during transformation, but you won’t take any damage as well).

As a Mangler, you’ll also gain the powerful Cannon the zombie yields and use it to clear waves at ease. This Cannon has infinite ammo, but it takes some time to charge up between shots. You can also use a dash and ram into other enemies to do more damage. That said, use the Mutant Injection strategically, and it’s best used as a last resort to avoid failure.
