Today’s Answers
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s Strands theme words in Strands:
- TUXEDO
- TABBY
- BLACK
- TORTOISESHELL
- ORANGE
- CALICO
The theme for today’s puzzle made me think of Hello Kitty characters, so I started searching for the answers. I stumbled upon two words, BLACK and TUXEDO, quite quickly. But then, I found myself stuck, not able to find any new words after this. So, after five minutes of searching, I decided to use a hint and linked the letters to make TABBY. The Spangram was nowhere in sight, still.
Next, I found the word Tortoise, but it wasn’t the answer to the Strands puzzle today. I kept linking more letters ahead to make TORTOISESHELL, which turned out to be one of the answers. I found ORANGE at the bottom left next, which revealed today’s Spangram – FURCOAT. The final word of the day turned out to be CALICO.
