How It All Started?

Ryomen Sukuna comes from the Heian Era, which saw him as one of the sorcerers with the most potential. He became the reason for many powerful sorcerer’s death and earned the title of the most powerful sorcerer in history. His fear among people remained intact until his death.

As a human, he possessed a greater amount of Cursed Energy and physical power that, when combined with his Jujutsu skills, could give any opponent a tough ride. He was so invincible as a human that even after dying, he divided his powers into 20 unbreakable fingers.

After several centuries, Yuji, our protagonist, releases Sukuna by eating one of his rotten fingers and becomes his vessel. When the higher-ups of Jujutsu High learned about this, they decided to kill the boy. However, Gojo stopped the execution as he decided to help him enroll in Jujutsu High and train him for good. Yuji befriends Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki; together, the trio fought many battles against the curses. They also had the support of Gojo and Nanami.

Sukuna didn’t leave any stone unturned to make Yuji suffer. He not only killed some people beloved to Yuji but also destroyed a massive area of Shibuya using his body. Yuji couldn’t forgive himself for being part of the destruction. In Chapter 212, Sukuna took control of Megumi’s body and continued the catastrophe.

Sukuna’s Demise in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268

As per the latest leaks for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268, Yuji hits Sukuna with Black Flash, and the attack crumbles the sorcerer’s domain. The King of Curses couldn’t be in charge of Megumi’s body anymore, so he gets peeled off. This all happens because of Yuji’s awakening and Nobara’s return, which saw her using the Resonance technique on the last remaining finger of Sukuna. So, The girl also helps Yuji by weakening Sukuna from a distance where he can’t reach her.

Megumi also fights Sukuna to get his body’s control back. So, basically, it was our legendary trio got back together to finally defeat Sukuna. Yuji held the last remains of the evil spirit and asked him if he wanted to live in his body forever. However, the egoist curse denies it, and his residue evaporates in the air.
