Feixiao is the 5-star character being added in the Honkai Star Rail 2.5 version, and her kit is a Hypercarry DPS, on par with Acheron and Firefly. Her Ultimate and Follow-up attacks are her main strength, and she also doesn’t have any energy requirements like Acheron. Feixiao is a very strong single-target DPS unit, easily putting in extremely high damage numbers with ease. If you are planning to get Feixiao, here is a complete guide for the best HSR Feixiao build.
Honkai Star Rail Feixiao: Path, Damage Type & Lore
Feixiao is a 5-star Hunt character with the Wind Damage type and she is a Single-Target DPS, as strong as Acheron and Firefly. Her kit is focused on her Ultimate Damage and Follow-up attacks. Like Acheron, Feixiao also doesn’t have any Energy, and she is able to use Ultimate based on the Flying Aureus stacks.
When it comes to her Lore and Backstory, she is one of the Seven Arbiter Generals of Xianzhou Alliance. She is the Merlin’s Claw of Xianzhou Yaoqing and is also widely called the Great General. However, she prefers the name the Lacking General, lacking in worries, regrets, and rivals. She is a straightforward person, with a strong personality and is skilled in all forms of martial arts. Feixiao also bears the burden of the Moon Rage affliction.
HSR Feixiao Release Date and Banner

Honkai Star Rail Feixiao Kit and Best Cycle Rotation
- Boltsunder (Basic Attack): Deals Wind Damage equal to 100% of Feixao’s Attack to a single target.
- Waraxe (Skill): Deals Wind Damage equal to 200% of Feixiao’s Attack to a single enemy and then she immediately launches 1 instance of Follow-up attack from her Talent against the same target.
- Terrasplit (Ultimate): She attacks a single enemy and deals Wind Damage equal to 700% of her Attack while also doing Toughness damage, ignoring the Weakness Type of the enemy. When the Target is not Weakness Broken, Feixiao’s Weakness Break Efficiency increases by 100%. While attacking, Feixiao first launches “Boltsunder Blitz” or “Waraxe Skyward” on the target for a total of 6 times. At the end, she deals Wind DMG equal to 160% of her ATK to the same target.
– Boltsunder Blitz: Deals Wind Damage equal to 60% of her ATK to the chosen target. The damage multiplier is increased by 30% if the target is Weakness Broken.
– Waraxe Skyward: Deals Wind Damage equal to 60% of her ATK to the chosen target. The damage multiplier is increased by 30% if the target is not Weakness Broken. - Thunderhunt (Talent): Feixiao can activate her Ultimate when the Flying Aureus stacks reach 6 points, accumulating up to 12 points. She gains 1 stack of Flying Aureus for every 2 attacks by allies, but her Ultimate attacks do not count towards this number. When her allies attack a target, Feixiao immediately launches a follow-up attack against the same target, dealing Wind Damage equal to 110% of Feixiao’s Attack. In case there is no primary target to attack, she attacks a single random enemy instead. This effect can only trigger once per turn and the trigger count resets at the start of Feixiao’s turn. When using this attack, increases Damage dealt by Feixiao by 60%, lasting for 2 turns.
- Stormborn (Technique): Feixiao enters the Onrush state for 20 seconds. While in Onrush, pulls in enemies within a certain range, and increases this unit’s movement speed by 50%. Once she has entered the battle, she gains 1 stack of Flying Aureus. While in Onrush, actively attacking will start the battle with all pulled enemies. After entering battle, deals Wind Damage equal to 200% of Feixiao’s ATK to all enemies at the start of each wave. This Damage is guaranteed to CRIT. If more than 1 enemy is pulled in, increase the multiplier of this DMG by 100% for each additional enemy pulled in, up to a maximum of 1000%.
Feixiao is a Follow-up attack-focused character with an emphasis on her Ultimate attack. She is very single-target oriented, but due to the high number of attacks possible because of her Talent’s follow-up attacks, she also does really well in multiple enemy scenarios. Her Technique in particular has the ability to clear multiple bands of enemies in one blow.
The main part of her kit is her Ultimate, which becomes active when she has at least 6 stacks of Flying Aureus. She gains 1 Flying Aureus from every 2 attacks of her allies, making it extremely beneficial to have Follow-up attack characters in her team. With her kit, continue using her Skill until you have enough Flying Aureus to use her Ultimate attack on the Elite enemy.
Best Feixiao Relics in HSR
- 4-piece The Wind-Soaring Valorous
- 4-piece Ashblazing Grand Duke
The 4-piece Wind-Soaring Valorous set is the clear favorite for Feixiao’s best Relic set. This relic set increases the Attack of the wearer by 12% and the Crit Rate by 6%. Additionally, it increased Damage dealt by Ultimate attacks by another 30% for 1 turn, after the wearer launches a Follow-up attack.
The 4-piece Ashblazing Grand Duke is the next best alternative, although the damage difference between both these sets for Feixiao is massive. This set increases the Follow-up attack damage for the wearer, making it still a decent relic option for Feixao.
Best Planar Ornaments for Feixiao in HSR
- Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves
- Inert Salsotto
The 2-piece Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves is the best Planar Ornament for Feixao. It increases the Follow-up attack damage of the wearer by 25% and Crit Damage by 25% at max stack. This is easily the perfect Planar Ornament option for Fexiao’s best build.
Other than that, Inert Salsotto is another good option for Feixiao as it increases the Crit Rate by 8% of the wearer and increases Ultimate and Follow-up attack damage by 15% after reaching 50% Crit Rate, which is pretty standard for Fexiao’s build.
Main and Sub Stats for Feixiao
Relics | Main / Sub-Stat |
---|---|
Head | HP / Crit Rate > Crit Damage > Attack % > Speed |
Hands | Attack / Crit Rate > Crit Damage > Attack % > Speed |
Body | Crit Rate / Crit Damage > Attack % > Speed |
Feet | Attack % / Crit Rate > Crit Damage > Attack % > Speed |
Planar Sphere | Wind Damage % / Crit Rate > Crit Damage > Attack % > Speed |
Link Rope | Attack % / Crit Rate > Crit Damage > Speed |
When it comes to Feixiao’s main Relic and Planar Ornament stats, use a Crit Rate Body, Attack % Feet, Physical Damage % Planar Sphere, and Attack % Link Rope.
For Sub stats, focus on reaching 70% Crit Rate at least and 140% Crit Damage. Other than that, put the rest of the stats on her Attack and Speed. Breaking the 134 Speed Breakpoint is almost necessary for Feixao, but you can break more Speed Breakpoints to have her attack more times.

- I Venture Forth to Hunt
- Swordplay
- Final Victor

I Venture Forth to Hunt is the best Light Cone for Feixiao, which is also her Signature Light Cone. This Light Cone significantly increases the Crit Rate. Additionally, it allows the wearer to avoid almost 54% of the enemy’s defense when dealing Ultimate damage after using Follow-up attacks.
For her alternative Light Cones, the Swordplay is the best 4-star Light Cone alternative for her. Other than that, you can also use Final Victor, Cruising in the Stellar Sea, and Shadowed by Night. Seele’s and Topaz’s signature Light Cones are also great options for Feixiao.

Best Team for Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail
Order | Main DPS | Support | Support/Sub-DPS | Sustain |
---|---|---|---|---|
Best | Feixiao | Robin | Topaz | Aventurine |
Alternative | Feixiao | Robin | Moze | Lingsha |
F2P | Feixiao | Hunt March 7th | Tingyun | Gallagher |
The best team for Feixiao will be a complete Follow-up attack-focused team with Robin, Topaz, and Aventurine. Robin is extremely vital for this team to maximize the damage output, but you can also use Topaz and Moze instead of her to do a fairly good enough job. Other than that, Hunt March 7th is another great option for Feixiao. For sustain units, you can use Lingsha or Gallagher if you don’t have Aventurine.
Should You Pull Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail
Feixiao is the strongest single-target DPS unit in the game and she is at the level of Acheron and Firefly in terms of damage numbers. For me, she is an absolute must-pull, especially for the fact that there are not many good Wind DPS options in the game in the first place.
But, the decision is still up to you. Feixiao is an amazing character, and her Kit is one of the strongest out there. If you have any further questions about Feixiao’s best build, ask us in the comment section and we will try to help you out.
