Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Trailblazing missions is one of the best Trailblaze Continuance missions so far in the game. The 2.5 trailblazing missions feature some very challenging boss fights, with the first major fight against Borisin Warhead Hoolay, followed by another incredibly hard fight against Fexiao herself. If you are stuck on the Shadow of Feixiao boss fight, then here is how you can easily defeat her in the game.
What Makes the Shadow of Feixiao Boss Fight Hard?
The Ecliptic Inner Beast and Shadow of ‘Feixiao’ boss fight is hard mainly due to the massive amount of HP of the boss. Other than that, this boss has the health spread out in multiple enemies, so players must break toughness for all the enemies to keep the boss’s damage in check and defeat her. There are four targets in this boss fight — Head, Tail and Leg of the Ecliptic Inner Beast, and Shadow of Feixiao.
This boss continues to do Enhanced attacks until the player destroys all four different Toughness bars. After breaking the Toughness Bar of the targets, the entire team’s action is forwarded. This boss is more about quickly breaking all the Toughness bars while keeping your allies safe with heals and shields.
Best Characters and Teams for the Feixiao Boss Fight in HSR
A large part of the difficulty of this fight is made easy with the correct characters. As Feixiao is fixed in the team, you need to only pick the other Sub DPS, Support and Sustains.
- Pick characters with the Wind, Physical, Fire, or Quantum damage type. Make sure to keep at least one character with Physical or Quantum damage type to easily break the Toughness of the tail. Physical characters would be the better choice.
- The next thing you need to do is pick characters with Follow-up attacks to best use Feixiao’s ability during the fight.
- Also, use good multi-target heal or shieldSustains to keep the team alive against Shadow of Feixiao’s enhanced attacks.

HSR Ecliptic Inner Beast and Shadow of Feixiao Boss Fight Strategy
When fighting Shadow of Feixiao, the main thing you need to focus on breaking the multiple toughness bars, which will advance forward the team, make the boss take more damage, and stop their enhanced attacks.
The fight is pretty simple, all you need to do is use Feixiao to break the Toughness of the Ecliptic Inner Beast’s head and Leg. Other than that, use Feixiao’s Ultimate to break the Toughness of Shadow of Feixiao and Ecliptic Inner Beast’s Tail. You can also use any other Physical Type character to focus on chipping the Toughness on the tail and Shadow of Feixiao, as her Ultimate cannot destroy it in one shot.
At various intervals, the Shadow of Feixiao will start to resonate with the Ecliptic Inner Beast to prepare for a massive attack. When this happens, use Feixiao to quickly destroy the Toughness of each of the Ecliptic Inner Beast’s targets. Her Ultimate can one-shot the Toughness bar of all the targets during this phase, so use it against the one that is hardest for you to break with other characters.
If you have Robin, then you can just use her Ultimate to Action Forward the entire team for another set of attacks when you are unable to break the Toughness. Now, continue chipping away Shadow of Feixiao’s toughness and health while keeping your characters safe with heals and you will be able to win the fight easily.
