TOP 10 Easter Eggs aus One Piece - YouTube

Recently, Jeff Ward took us on a tour of the sets of One Piece Live Action season 2 to give us a look at everything that goes on behind the scenes. While Netflix did a good job of blurring out the season 2 spoilers, the tour gave us a sneak peek at some things we can expect to see in Season 2. As a result, I have compiled all the easter eggs and cool details you might have missed in the One Piece Season 2 set tour video. Let’s dig deep into the world of One Piece without any further ado.

Spoilers Warning: This article contains spoilers for the characters and the world of One Piece. So, proceed with caution.

1. Nico Robin’s Arabasta Outfit

If you aren’t aware, Nico Robin aka Miss All Sunday’s live-action casting was announced yesterday accidentally by Netflix. In the set tour, we can spot a classic cowboy outfit that Lera Abova will don as Nico Robin in the second season.

2. Season 2 Character Wigs

As Jeff Ward heads to the Hair & Makeup department, we can catch a glimpse of the wigs of all the new characters in season 2. For example, you can see Miss Wednesday, aka Princess Vivi’s blue hair, Ipponmatsu’s wig, some members of the Baroque Works Organization, and more on the shelves.

3. Large Syringe Used by Crocus

A live-action replica of the syringe used by Crocus was also seen in the Props department. If you don’t remember, this syringe was used to inject a sedative into Laboon as the whale wouldn’t stop smashing its head against the reverse mountain. We first saw this when the Straw Hat Pirates went inside Laboon’s mouth and met Crocus.

4. Usopp’s Goggles and Gomu Gomu No Mi Devil Fruit Replica

Now, this is not an Easter egg per se, but here you can see the replica of Usopp’s sniper goggles and Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi devil fruit. The live-action team has done a fantastic job in recreating it for the live-action medium, and we can’t wait to see it in the show’s second season.

5. Hand Island

Surprisingly, we also get to see a map with Hand Island written on it in the set tour. Long-time One Piece fans would remember that there is a One Piece TV special movie titled “Episode of Luffy: Adventure on Hand Island.” Check out all One Piece arcs in the linked guide.

In this non-canon movie, the Straw Hats visit the Hand Island, which is identical to the map we see here. This island used to be Whitebeard’s territory but was later taken over by Marine Commodore Bilić. As this is filler material, let’s see how the showrunners incorporated it into the second season.

6. Ipponmatsu Arms Shop and Yubashiri Sword

Our favorite swordsman, Roronoa Zoro, will visit the Ipponmatsu Arms Shop in Logue Town in the second season. Fortunately, we got a complete look at the live-action set of this arms shop filled with swords and guns in the studio tour.

One Piece fans know that this shop is where Zoro would get his hands on the Sandai Kitetsu III and the Yubashiri sword (check out Zoro’s complete sword collection right here). In the last image, the sword at the top kind of resembles the Yubashiri sword’s design, however, we would have to wait to find out if it’s the one in the second season.

7. More Shops at Logue Town

After visiting the Ipponmatsu Arms Shop, we also see the different shops in Logue Town. Numerous shops, including The Polestar Gallery, Logue Town restaurant, and Antique Shop, can also be seen in the set tour. Furthermore, author Eiichiro Oda’s trademark easter egg, Doskoi Panda, which has appeared a lot in the anime and manga, can also be seen here.

8. Twin Cape Lighthouse

Up next, we got a chance to visit the interior of the Twin Cape Lighthouse, which has been taken care of by Crocus for many years. This lighthouse is located at the foot of the Reverse Mountain and will be visited by the Straw Hats as they enter the Grand Line in the second season of the One Piece Live Action show.

9. Drum Island Concept Art

Earlier, Oda sensei confirmed that One Piece Live-Action season 2 will feature the story up to the Drum Island arc. Thus, as we know that the Straw Hats will sail to the winter island, we got a first look at the concept art of the Drum Kingdom, aka the Sakura Kingdom, in the Season 2 set tour.

10. A Lot of New Den Den Mushis

After watching the debut season, you should be familiar with the telepathic snails called the Den Den Mushi. We can catch a glimpse of a lot more of them in the latest set tour of the second season.

11. Sanji’s Tuna

Last but not least, we also catch a glimpse of the live-action model of the Blue-Finned Elephant Tuna aka Elephant True Bluefin fish. It’s an elephant-esque fish with a trunk and tusks that can be spotted in the South Blue.

Sanji, the chef of the Straw Hat Pirates, will be shown buying this fish at a shop in Logue Town, and we will later see Luffy eating it in one go in Reverse Mountain.

That’s everything we can find from the set tour of One Piece Live Action season 2 by Jeff Ward. The production team has tirelessly worked to recreate the astonishing world of One Piece as seen in the source material. That said, did you discover any easter eggs other than what we found?
