Black Myth: Wukong has tons of secret boss fights and areas hidden behind cryptic quests. One such quest in Chapter 2 is the Buddha’s Eyeball collection quest, which unlocks the secret boss fight Shigandang. Defeating this boss unlocks the Azure Dust transformation spell, which is very useful against bosses that apply status effects. If you are having trouble finding all the Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth: Wukong, then keep reading as we detail them all there.
There are 6 Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth: Wukong and all of them can be found in Chapter 2. Here are the locations for all of them:
1) First Buddha’s Eyeball Location
The First Buddha’s Eyeball can be found right at the start of Fright Cliff. After defeating the King and Second Prince of Flowing Lands, go over the nearby bridge to enter Fright Cliff.
Continue moving forward until you find the first Buddha’s Eyeball. Remember to defeat the enemies nearby first, otherwise, it can be quite a hassle to collect it.
2) Second Buddha’s Eyeball Location
The next Buddha’s Eyeball can be found atop the wooden structure on the right path from the Squall Hideout Shrine. As you take the path on the right, you will find multiple Blazebones on top of wooden structures that will attack you from range.
The Buddha’s Eyeball can be found right past them. This location directly oversees the Man-in-Stone cavern.
3) Third Buddha’s Eyeball Location
The third Buddha’s Eyeball can be found on the path on the left of the Squall Hideout Shrine. Instead of going to the right as mentioned earlier, use the right side path until you find the Buddha’s Eyeball. You will Pitstone and Palestone monsters near the Buddha’s Eyeball so make sure to defeat them before collecting them.
4) Fourth Buddha’s Eyeball Location
The fourth Buddha’s Eyeball can be found by heading into the cave on the left side path from Squall Hideout Shrine. After entering the cave on the left side path, you will find a candle-lit area near an alter, and this place would be guarded by a Palestone. Defeat the Palestone to collect the Buddha’s Eyeball behind it.
5) Fifth Buddha’s Eyeball Location
The fifth Buddha’s Eyeball is a bit tricky to find as it is near the Mother of Stones boss room. You can reach this place using multiple paths, but the quickest one I found was taking the path is going left from the Rockrest Flat Shrine and using the path on the right after entering the cave.
Continue moving forward until you reach the Mother in Stone boss. You can simply ignore the boss and go through the opening on the right side to find the Buddha’s Eyeball on the Balcony overseeing the land.
6) Sixth Buddha’s Eyeball Location
The sixth Buddha’s Eyeball is very easy to find as it is near the Rockrest Flat Shrine. After you reach the Rockrest Flat Shrine, continue going forward and you will find the Buddha’s Eyeball on the left, right before the Stone Vanguard boss room. This area is filled with enemies, so I suggest running straight to the Eyeball location after resting at the Rockrest Flat Shrine.
How to Use Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong
After collecting all the six Buddha’s Eyeballs, players unlock the Shigandang boss fight. However, first, you need to defeat the Stone Vanguard, which can be found near the Rockrest Flat Shrine.
After defeating the Stone Vanguard, you will find a massive rock lying in the same room. Go near this rock and you will get a Deliver option. Deliver the six Buddha’s Eyeballs to start the Shigandang boss fight.
Defeating Shigandang unlocks the Azure Dust transformation spell, which turns the main character into a Rock Guai, removing all status effects. This transformation is quite strong against enemies that deal with status effects.
So, there you have it. Now you know where to find all the Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth Wukong. If you can’t find any of the Buddha’s eyeballs, ask us in the comment section and we will try to help you out.
