Fans of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon have been waiting for something new to come out of the franchise for some time now. However, just when we thought that we had seen all the stories to be told, a new spinoff series, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage got announced with its first episode now live. Even though people love to watch this couple on screen, did you wonder if Sheldon Cooper will appear in the series or not? Sheldon Cooper Will Not Appear Because He Is at Caltech

By the end of Young Sheldon, we see that Sheldon got accepted into the California Institute of Technology or Caltech. However, just when the Cooper family was going to get a family photo clicked before Sheldon left for the University, George Cooper Sr., his father, had a heart attack and passed away. This gives him a sense of guilt for not appreciating his father but by the end of the final episode of Young Sheldon, he leaves for Caltech. So, since Sheldon Cooper is currently studying at Caltech, he is not present in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

While Sheldon Cooper does not appear in the first episode of Georgie & Mandy, it is highly unlikely that we’ll see him in further episodes as well. This is because the story keeps Georgie and his family as a central pointand if Sheldon enters the show, the entire focus will shift to him. In addition to that Iain Armitage, the actor who plays Sheldon is not mentioned in the cast of this series so it is pretty much confirmed that Sheldon Cooper will not appear in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
